The minimum share capital requirement of a Swiss LLP is CHF20’000, which is significantly less than an LTD (AG).  100% of the share capital must be paid up when incorporating the company.

Even though this is a company with limited liability, it is best comparable to the English legal for of LLP (‘Limited Liability Partnership’).  Unlike with a Swiss LTD (AG), the share holders are on public register since every change in the shareholding must be submitted to the Commercial Registry.

Aside from the share capital requirement, other key requirements include a minimum one one shareholder and one Swiss resident director (we can provide a resident director with our nominee director service in case you live abroad).

As with an LTD, the liability of an LLP is limited to the share capital /shares.
